In 2002, we had an idea. The idea was to create a marketplace for game used college jerseys, pants, helmets and other items.  We are coming up on eight years later, and it has been a blast. We have accumulated the largest selection of game worn authentic college jerseys in the world.  From New Hampshire to Miami, Notre Dame to UTEP, WashingtonState to San DiegoState, we have you covered. We thought we would take a moment and relect on what we have found most enjoyable over the last eight years. Back in 2002, we noticed that many people were interested in purchasing authentic jerseys from their school, but for the most part, schools did not sell these items or if they did sell them, they did so on campus, during one weekend a year. So if you for example, attended Penn State but now live in California, it would be very difficult to get all the way back to the university campus in state college. You can call a undergraduate student that you know to help you, however a college student busy earning their diploma and is worried about paying for tuition, so chances are they might not be able to help. In addition, as we all remember, college students when not working or studying, have other things in mind for passing the time.  

So we figured, why not bring these items within a few mouse clicks! That is what we set out to do. We have the pleasure of working with universities from Rutgers to Colorado and UCLA. Many times people ask how we do what we do. Our answer is always the same. If we work with 300 colleges, there are 300 different ways they want to do it. Along the way, we have worked with community colleges, liberal arts colleges, schools with top business schools, schools with tough admissions and univ type schools. Many schools which serve as the main state university such as Oklahoma. We have learned that there are many schools which are very large, but not as well known such as TexasState. It seems like the only type of school we haven't worked with is an online college or university online. It would be tough to sell virtual jerseys.  

Another question we are often asked is how does the ncaa play a part in what we do? The answer is they don't. The NCAA is the official body for many schools which engage in intercollegiate athletics. They also enforce rules with regards to student athletes. However, since we deal directly with the schools, we don't play any part with what we do. We will let them stick to setting up brackets for the great tournament in March.  

As you will see, we have more college football jerseys than college basketball, college baseball or college hockey jerseys. The reason for this is simple mathematics. A university football team can carry up to 100 players. A ncaa basketball team will only carry about 15. You can run the math...  

Finally, college meant something different to everyone. For some, they attended a community college, some attended an Ohio university, some a virginia university, some a southern university in the SEC. In those days, no one knew the meaning of edu as we think of it today. We all have a collage of memories from our days at college university, whether it was in arkansas, an indiana university or boston college. To get in the college board was an important process and to pass takes a smart person to pass.
